WEBSITE INFORMATION
Request data & privacy
Applies to sample and quotation forms on the VTEX website.
Information collected
Name, business name, phone, optional email, customer type, optional delivery area, fabric, width, metres and request details. The form submits only after you agree and select the submit button.
How information is used
VTEX stores information to review requests, check specifications, provide advice and quotations, and arrange samples. Submitting a form does not create an order or a payment obligation.
Storage and access
Request data is stored in the website database on Cloudflare infrastructure. Administration requires sign-in and server-side permission checks; other visitors cannot view requests. Customer contact information is not published in the catalogue.
Usage statistics
The website counts daily page and form views for comparison with saved enquiries. These statistics do not store names, emails, phone numbers, IP addresses, user identifiers or form contents. Views are not unique visitors and may include automated traffic.
Sample selections on your device
The request list keeps fabric codes, specifications and metres in the browser session and expires after 4 hours without an update. Closing a window does not remove it. Successful submission from the review page clears the list.
Your browser may store selected sample IDs so you can continue between pages. Form drafts are kept within the browser session for switching between samples and quotations, expire after four hours and are cleared after successful submission. Contact details are not stored in long-term browser storage.
Duplicate and spam prevention
The website uses request references to prevent duplicates and limits submission frequency. Rate-limit hashes do not contain contact information and are cleared after expiry.
Requests to correct information
You may request a correction or deletion through the website request form, quoting your confirmation reference. VTEX needs to verify the requester before processing. Do not enter sensitive or unnecessary information.
Confirmation and status
A request is confirmed only when the system successfully saves it and returns a reference. If an error occurs, the form retains its contents for retrying and does not report success.
