85gsm white embossed lining, 240cm: Confirm the surface
When sourcing embossed lining, specify weight, colour and finish together. VTEX 85gsm lining is white, 100% Microfiber, 240cm wide and embossed.
Check the embossed surface against a sample
Product images help identify surface appearance, but lighting and camera angle can change how the embossing looks. Keep an agreed reference sample when the surface is an important design criterion.
Record the selected reference with the product name and discussion date. When sharing comparison images, include both a full view and a close-up to establish that both parties are reviewing the same sample.
Assess it in the planned product construction
If using the fabric as an inner layer in a sewn product, assess it alongside the planned layers and seams. A workshop can make a sample to evaluate compatibility with its design before selecting the material.
Do not infer waterproofing, flame resistance or strength from the 85gsm weight. Specific performance requirements need supporting data for the application under discussion.
Identify the lining product in the purchasing sheet
Specify 85gsm embossed lining, white, 240cm, linear metres and the reference sample. Avoid shortening this to white lining when the order also contains 70gsm products.
For multiple deliveries, separate metres and dates by batch to discuss availability. Include the selected surface and specifications in the order confirmation.
